Concept Plus, LLC (“Concept Plus”), a leader in software development solutions focused on Oracle Technologies, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics and Digital Services for U.S. Government customers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Sofo as the new Senior Vice President and Sector General Manager. Gary will spearhead our efforts in the Healthcare/Federal Civilian Sector, leveraging his extensive experience and proven leadership to drive innovation and growth.
Gary joins us from Tyto Athene, LLC, where he served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in advancing technological initiatives and managing critical IT strategies. Before that, Gary was the Executive Vice President and Partner at Qbase, demonstrating outstanding leadership and strategic vision over more than eleven years.
Gary’s impressive career includes key positions such as Vice President of the Health Solutions Business Unit at SAIC, President of Professional Services at Apptis, and Group Vice President/GM for the Federal Civilian division at BTG. His public sector experience is highlighted by his role as Assistant Director/Deputy CIO at the U.S. Senate for eight years.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Certificate in International Relations and Public Policy from the University of Rochester, along with an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, specializing in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, and Organizational Change Management.
In his new role, Gary will be responsible for driving growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring exceptional value delivery to our Healthcare and Federal Civilian customers. His expertise in integration, program management, and IT strategy will be crucial as we continue to enhance our service offerings.
